Day 2 – First Day in the New Home
Monday 12th May 2025
Last night Boomer woke around 12.30am and wanted to go out and pee. He settled right back down after we went back inside and didn’t stir until around 6.30am.
I actually took today off. It was a miscommunication between my daughter and I. I normally work from home on a Monday but because my daughter has to go out of town Tuesday evening through Thursday I took Wednesday and Thursday off, as they would not let me work from home for two days. However after that arrangement my daughter said she needed me Monday as well so I took Monday off. After I had done that she clarified that it was next Monday. I decided to just keep the leave day and take some more “Boomer and me” time.
After getting up the second time and going outside to pee right way we did marker training for about 2 minutes. Later today we will start lure training (day 2 of Florida K9 Unleashed training program). Also on todays training agenda is a 1 mile walk, which is going to be a challenge for me too! I also plan on watching the videos on remote collar training.
Mid-morning and time for some more play outside, this time with Sadie.
Of course that is followed by the mandatory nap.
