Tuesday 14th May 2025
I slept well last night, in fact I didn’t wake up until my human did at 6.30am. He let me out and after I peed we walked over to the big house and let my big sister Sadie out to pee. She really didn’t want to come out, she misses her mom who is out of town on a business trip. She gets depressed when mom is away but I’ll play with her today to keep her busy.
I was running around the yard but I kept close to my human and when I got the chance I’d nip at his leg, or run between them. I must have caused him to loose balance or something because he said a word I hadn’t heard before then starting limping. I think I did something but he didn’t yell at me so I’m not sure.
After some running around in the yard we went into the big house. I was being a brat, any chance I got I was nipping at dad’s heel or feet. He put that vibrating collar on me and when he would catch me he said a word I’m learning still and the thing would vibrate until I stopped. Not quite sure why it stopped when I stopped nipping. I figured I’d lie next to his boots and when he wasn’t watching I’d nibble at them, but then that collar vibrated and he would say that word again until I stopped. He would put the big rope in front of me and I’d chew on it, but I like his boots better.
I’ve learned that if I want to go out and pee I can stand by the door and make a whining noise then my human will let me out, I’m getting him trained well, he’s a quick learner.
Despite my human telling me not to, and giving me the rope, I like his boots better so I kept going back to them when he wasn’t looking.
He’s getting better at watching me. I tried to slip into the living room on the carpet, its soft, but he was quick to see that I wasn’t near him and came looking for me.
Then he got my leash and put me in his truck and we went around the corner to this big open space. We started walking around the track and I was learning a new word. He would say a new word and make sure I was by his left side, not between his legs. I think I did good because he didn’t trip and use that word he used earlier this morning. My human did good walking around that track, he was limping a little towards the end.
After that we went back to the big house. We let my big sister out so she could pee then we went inside and I had some water and a snack.
