What this course builds, lesson by lesson
LOG-01 Lesson 6 gives the activation triggers and a single-day drill outline. This course is where a Logistics Lead actually runs an activation: inside a command structure, over multiple days, with real mutual aid partners, closing the loop with a real AAR process and a drill built well enough to find the gaps a single-day version doesn’t reach. If your group has already completed LOG-01, this picks up exactly where Lesson 6 left off.
| Lesson | Builds |
|---|---|
| 1 — ICS Structure | Where logistics sits in the Incident Command System, and how LOG-01’s sub-roles map onto it. |
| 2 — Sustained Activation | Tracking real consumption past 72 hours, mid-activation resupply, and rotating the logistics role. |
| 3 — Mutual Aid Activation | Executing LOG-03 agreements under real conditions, including partial fulfillment. |
| 4 — After-Action Reporting | Closing the loop so an AAR finding becomes a real, verified change — not a paragraph of intentions. |
| 5 — Designing a Drill | Building injects that actually stress the system, and spreading facilitation across more than one person. |
| 6 — Transport & Relocation | Vehicle load planning and executing the LOG-02 rally-point and cache-split plans under pressure. |
Prerequisite
This course assumes your group has completed LOG-01 Lesson 6 (Activation, Maintenance & the Annual Drill) at minimum, ideally the full LOG-01 course. It also references LOG-02 Lesson 4 (multi-cache architecture) and LOG-03 Lesson 1 (mutual aid agreements) directly — completing those courses first will make this one easier, though it can be taken with LOG-01 alone.
How to use these lessons
Each lesson follows the same structure as the rest of this curriculum: a concept section (often illustrated with a diagram), an application note, and a drill with an embedded worksheet. Work them in order — Lesson 4’s AAR process assumes the activation and drill concepts from Lessons 1–3 and 5.
Every lesson ends with a knowledge check, and the next lesson stays locked until you answer all of its questions correctly. As with the rest of this curriculum, the feedback on each option is written to explain the reasoning, not just mark the answer right or wrong — read it even when you get a question right the first time.
Orientation Check
Answer both before starting Lesson 1 below. These two questions check your footing; they do not lock any lesson.
