Ready Trainer

The whole FFTP training library on one USB drive. 86 courses, no internet needed.

Semper Paratus, Semper Gumby

AVAILABLE OCTOBER 23, 2026

Launching with Ready Ledger at Mountain Readiness, Harmony, NC, October 23 to 25. Stop by the Fortune Favors the Prepared booth to look through the library.

Learn the skill. Check your work. Put it to use.

Ready Trainer is the Fortune Favors the Prepared course library, on a USB drive you own. Planning, communications, medical, intelligence, security, navigation, logistics, food storage and mutual assistance group operations, taught the way emergency services actually work, and adapted for households and groups.

Every course was built by an emergency manager with 30 years in law enforcement, EMS, search and rescue, 911 dispatch and emergency operations. Each one ends with something you can use: a report you can send, a plan you can print, a drill you can run with your family or group.

EVERY COURSE, BUILT THE SAME WAY

You always know what you are getting

  • Lessons in order, short and building on each other, with a course map so you always know where you are
  • Knowledge checks through the course. Miss one and it tells you which lesson to go back to
  • A completion certificate to print when you finish
  • A companion guide (PDF): the full course in print, for the binder, the go-bag, or a group that trains without screens
  • A one-pager (PDF): the sheet you tape to the wall or keep by the radio, with the steps, formats and key terms
  • Related articles from the Fortune Favors the Prepared library, one click from the course card

HOW IT WORKS

Four steps, every course

1 · Pick a track

Start with Track 0, then filter by the role you fill.

2 · Learn it

Work the lessons with the companion guide open beside them.

3 · Check it

Pass each knowledge check, then print your certificate.

4 · Use it

Log the certificate in Ready Ledger and drill it with your group.

COMPANION TO READY LEDGER

Learn it here, keep it in your Ledger

Plan it in Ready Ledger, learn it in Ready Trainer. The PREP-CON ladder, Community SITREP, PACE contacts, ICS-205 comms plan and supply targets you keep in the Ledger are the ones these courses teach you to use. Every Ledger page links to its related course, and each certificate goes on the person’s training record.

TRAIN YOUR GROUP IN PERSON

Same content, hands on

Courses are built with an in-person version for your MAG, church, CERT team or workplace: the same material, with time to practice it together. Contact us through fortunefavorstheprepared.com to schedule an instructor-led session.

FOR HOUSEHOLDS AND GROUPS

Everyone speaks the same language

Have every member finish Track 0 before your first group session, then assign specialist tracks by role. ICS, SALUTE, START and PACE are the terms your county emergency manager, CERT team and ARES net already use, so your group can work alongside them. Take the full library, or just the tracks you need; courses outside your package show as locked.
