US-Iran strikes continue for a second night with a third Gulf country now hit. A new Utah wildfire has passed Cottonwood as the nation’s largest. Here’s what actually matters for your household today.

Quick version of today’s Daily Threat Report:
Iran situation continues to escalate. The US and Iran have now exchanged strikes for two nights running, and Iran has widened its response to a third country in the Gulf. There’s no credible threat to the US at this time, but expect gas prices to keep rising after weeks of decline — consider filling up in the next day or two.
A new wildfire has taken the top spot. The Babylon Fire near Monticello, Utah has grown past 101,000 acres and is now the largest active wildfire in the country, passing the Cottonwood Fire (which is itself still burning at 96,000+ acres, now 58% contained). If you’re in that part of Utah, check your evacuation zone status today.
Ebola case counts: unchanged, but that’s not good news. Confirmed cases haven’t moved in three straight updates — more likely a reporting gap than a slowdown. No US risk change.
World Cup Quarterfinals begin today, opening with France vs. Morocco in Boston.

I developed some training for my ham testing team and as part of that I created certificates of completion. Now that I figured out how to do that I’m going back through the courses that are now live and adding that option to them. To make that work you have to answer the questions before you will get the option to go to the next lesson. The certificate option opens at the end. None of your information is recorded, its basically a pdf that you drop your name into and save/print. Your progress is tracked in your browser.
It will take me a few days to get them all done because I’m also auditing/updating them to make sure they are all in the same format/color scheme etc.
