| 5 — Blue Sky | Build & Train | Rotate food storage; add medical supplies; update the Family Emergency Plan quarterly; distribute one-time pads (OTPs) and other authentication material; train and exercise. |
| 4 — Orange Sky | Monitor & Verify | Verify contacts, test comms apps; inventory supplies; increase monitoring; maintain equipment. |
| 3 — Brown Sky | Notify & Coordinate | Implement secure notifications; finalize plans; maintain fuel/power; stand up a local net. |
| 2 — Gray Sky | Stage | Establish the go-code; confirm authentication material is current and in hand; make last-minute purchases; stage vehicles. |
| 1 — Black Sky | Execute | Initiate the go-code; establish secure/satellite comms; convoy or shelter in place. |
Actions should be assignable. A good action is specific enough that someone else in your household or MAG could read it and know exactly what to do — not a vague intention.
