Todays Reports

Posted on 2026-06-10 by Nick Meacher

Good morning,

Today’s Fortune Favors the Prepared intelligence package is attached — DTR Full, DTR Lite, and Daily Preparedness Brief.

The website is experiencing an upload issue today so documents are delivered directly (I’ve been fighting it for the past couple of hours).

THIS CYCLE AT A GLANCE

US-IRAN DIRECT EXCHANGE — PREP-CON 3 BROWN SKY

CENTCOM launched self-defense strikes against Iranian air defense, radar, and ground control stations near the Strait of Hormuz on the evening of 09-JUN. Iran retaliated before dawn 10-JUN, striking US military bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan simultaneously. Jordan intercepted five incoming missiles. Nearly all threats were intercepted across all three sites. No confirmed US casualties as of cycle open. The April ceasefire is operationally non-functional. The IRGC Quds Force declared a new “security belt” from Hormuz to Bab al-Mandab — if operationalized, it extends Iran’s chokepoint strategy to the southern entrance of the Red Sea. Hormuz blockade is Day 59. EIA June STEO projects $105/bbl through July.

IAEA VERIFICATION BLACKOUT — DAY 102

FDD/ISIS published analysis on 09-JUN confirming near-total, ongoing loss of IAEA monitoring of Iranian nuclear sites. 440.9 kg of 60%-enriched HEU — enough fissile material for multiple weapons if further enriched — cannot be accounted for by any external party. The Xi-Kim Pyongyang summit concluded the same day without a denuclearization outcome; Kim announced an exponential nuclear production ramp-up.

CISA KEV — ACT TODAY / TOMORROW

Three new CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities published 09-JUN: Chromium V8 (all Chromium-based browsers), Arista EOS network OS, and Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager — a three-layer pre-positioning sweep. Separately, the Check Point Security Gateway VPN authentication bypass (CVE-2026-50751) reaches its FCEB mandatory remediation deadline TOMORROW 11-JUN. Active exploitation is confirmed. Patch or disconnect affected appliances before end of business today.

BELFAST ANTI-IMMIGRATION RIOTS — ACTIVE

North Belfast knife attack 09-JUN by a Sudanese asylum seeker triggered violent anti-immigration riots across Belfast overnight. Homes and vehicles were torched. Violence spread to Glasgow and London. A far-right rally is planned at Belfast City Hall today with organizers explicitly encouraging both loyalist and nationalist communities to attend — a politically significant framing. The US Embassy in London issued a formal Demonstration Alert this morning. IO amplification by Musk, Farage, and Tommy Robinson follows the identical pattern as the 2024 UK riots. Full analysis including the Irish Citizen Army ecosystem context is in the DTR Full.

SEVERE WEATHER — ACTIVE TODAY AND THURSDAY

SPC Day 1 ENHANCED Risk is active now across the upper Mississippi Valley and Midwest. Tornadoes (some strong), hail over 2 inches, wind gusts over 75 mph through tonight. ORD/MDW ground stop continuing. Day 2 ENHANCED covers lower Michigan and northern Illinois Thursday. 30 NOAA Weather Radio transmitters are out of service or degraded — up from 18 yesterday — including stations inside the active severe weather corridor.
