Course Map
Community SITREP — your route into the course, and your route back to any lesson you have already finished.
Course Materials
PLN-03 Student Companion Guide (PDF)
Condensed reference for all five lessons, the seven Community Lifelines in the correct order, the workbook cross-reference table, and blank worksheets for a Community SITREP and your household workbook locations. Print the worksheets; the rest is reference you can carry.
PLN-03 Study Guide (printed)
The same guide, bound and printed. Worth having if you would rather not print worksheets yourself, or if you want a copy that survives being carried alongside a Field Report Card.
Your Progress
Checking progress on this device
Progress is stored in the browser you are studying in. If you switch to a different device or clear your browser data, the lessons will lock again and you will need to work back through them.
Lessons 01–05
Lesson 01 is open from the start. Each lesson after it unlocks when the one before it has been completed — that means every knowledge check answered correctly, not just the page opened.
Lesson 01
Why Post-Disaster Information Fails
The core problem after any disaster: incomplete, unstructured, scattered information. The line between a Threat/Hazard Assessment and a Community SITREP, and why confusing the two produces speculation instead of observed condition.

Lesson 02
The Intelligence Fusion Model
Four input streams — HUMINT, SIGINT/COMINT, TECHINT, OSINT — and the one rule that keeps fusion honest when sources conflict: ground truth outranks context, every time.

Lesson 03
Building the SITREP: Structure and Mechanics
Every field, header to footer, plus the seven Community Lifelines in the correct order and a fully worked example fusing three inputs into one lifeline entry.
Checking
Lesson 04
Reassessment Loop: Feeding Household Data Upward
How the Family Emergency Plan, Personal Preparedness Assessment, Next of Kin, and Household Recovery Workbooks connect to the fusion process, before and after an incident.

Lesson 05
Capstone: Fusing a SITREP from Fragmented Inputs
A novel, partially conflicting scenario — four inputs, out of order, one of them a deliberately wrong OSINT signal. Judgment practice, not new content.

PLN-03 Certificate of Completion
Unlocks once all five lessons are marked complete on this device. You add your name or callsign on the certificate page, and the completion date is set the first time it opens and does not change afterwards.

How to Use This Page
This page is a shortcut for people already working the course, not a second front door. If you have not started yet, go back to the course overview first — it explains what the course is for and what you need in front of you before Lesson 01 will be worth much.
Coming back to review is expected and encouraged. A completed lesson stays open permanently, and re-reading Lesson 03 before you next fill in a SITREP is a better use of ten minutes than most things you could do with them.
Before You Start
PLN-03 assumes PLN-01 (Community Lifelines) is already complete. INT-03 (SALUTE & SPOT Report Training) is recommended but not required — you can take it before or after PLN-03.
