Others that can be quickly deployed can be the size of a hockey puck, with the battery life proportion to the size. If they are attached magnetically then modern vehicles limit places where they can be placed. One ‘trick’ is to have a dirty vehicle. Anyone brushing up against it to hide a tracker might rub dirt off and a quick walk around your vehicle might reveal this, giving you an indication to check that area.
