There are a couple of DMR networks in Virginia, DMRVA is one of them.
Time Slot 1
Richmond Metro
The repeaters around Richmond and on a local “cluster,” so bringing up one on the “local” talkgroup (TG-27500) brings up all of them.
Tactical/Chat talkgroups
Also on TS-1 are two ‘chat’ or ‘tactical’ talkgroups (TG-27501 & 27502). These are the same TG ID’s used on the PRN system but it is not clear from the matrix on the DMRVA web site if these are linked to the PRN system (they are the same TG ID’s used for PRN Tac 1 & 2).
Time Slot 2
The Virginia statewide talkgroup is full time on TS-2.
Those close of West Virginia have the WV Statewide talkgroup enabled on TS-2 as push-to-talk (PTT).
Bridge to PRN System
Most of the repeaters use TG-2 on TS-2 which is connected to the PRN system, so you are not only bringing up all of the DMRVA repeaters but all of the repeaters on the PRN network across North and South Carolina (the SC repeaters are part of the SCHEART network that is linked to the PRN system except during emergencies.
NETS
The nets on the DMRVA network can be found on their web page here.
